Lake Manyara National Park Safari – Explore Tanzania’s Hidden Gem

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara is the seventh largest lake in all of Tanzania and has a dense, rainforest-like environment and it is home to elephants, waterbucks, impalas, hippos, buffalo and other herbivores. It is also known for its tree climbing lions!

You will be sure to see the many species of primates that reside in the park, such as velvet monkeys and baboons, too!

But where Lake Manyara truly shines, is with our feathered friends. With over 400 species of birds, and over 50 of those are birds of prey, Lake Manyara is a true birders paradise! You can't miss the bright pink flamingos that call Lake Manyara home, and rumor has it, you can likely observe over 100 of these species in just one day!
